Byline convention
The journal publishes under a single house byline — "the The Corporate Car Desk" — rather than named individual writers. The desk's analysts and dispatchers contribute to every brief, and the publication, not a person, stands behind each ranking and each estimate. It is a deliberate choice: the credibility on the line is the desk's, and the desk is who you reach when something is wrong.
What this desk does not do
- We do not run sponsored rankings. Operators cannot pay to appear, move up, or be left out of our journal.
- We do not invent operators. Every company named in a ranking is a real, checkable New York–area provider.
- We do not publish self-reported star ratings as if they were neutral facts. Where we cite a credential, we say what it is and where it comes from.
- We do not sell or share the inputs you type into the planner. It runs entirely in your browser.
